| Abstract: | The transmission parameters of the symmetrical cable employing copper clad steel as conductor are calculated in consideration of the skin effect, reflection effect and proximity effect of the magnetic field within the cable. It is proved that the copper clad steel conductor cable is superior to the copper conductor cable in transmission performance when the thick ness of the copper layer in the copper clad steel conductor has certain relationship with the transmission frequency. |
