| Abstract: | Now broadband integrated service network has become an important project developing in the world. This paper briefly describes the new trends of communication transmission technology. Specifically, the paper introduces the concept of ATM technology, cell structure and transmission frame structure of ATM, switch technology of ATM and protocal reference model of ATM. |
