我校图书馆过期期刊的管理与利用

高校图书馆的任务是为教学科研服务,不仅包括一般图书和现刊的流通服务,而且包括过刊的再利用。我校过刊资源较丰富,但利用率很低。原因是多方面的,就图书馆本身而言,过刊管理,也未跟上。应通过优化馆藏,加强管理,进一步拓宽和完善服务内容等途径,来提高过刊的利用率,实现其价值。

On Management and Utilization of Back Number of a Magazine in our Library

The assignment of college library comprises two aspects, serving for teachig and studying including once more use of back number of a magazine service as well as general book now magazine circulation service. There is a lot of valuable back number of magazines in our library, and yet the utilization ratio on these magazines is low, the reasons bepend on many facters, the main reasons can be listed as follows unsuitable service; lack vigour for teachers spending a lot of time on teaching in view of these, remedial measures and suggestions are proposed; optimizing the collection of back number of a magazine; strethening management; extending and perfecting service.
