| Abstract: | To seek the chromosome locus of RP2, a related gene of retinitis pigmentosa(RP), eight microsatellite DNA markers were used for linkage analysis in the XLRP pedigrees. The RP2 locus in family JG was mapped out between the markers DXS1126 and DXS1068 in family JG, which may be 5-7cM apart. This pedigree will be useful in seeking and cloning of RP2 gene. |
