Stripping Method Applied in the Recovery of Methanol Residue

Analysis was made on the components of the methanol residue from the methanol production unit adopting 3- tower distillation process and comparisons were made on the commonly used treatment methods of the methanol residue. The process philosophy, technology and equipment involved for methanol recovery via stripping method was expounded. Applying stripping method in the recovery of methanol reside can not only recover part of the methanol and raise economic benefit, but also improve environmental protection, thus achieving the aim of comprehensive utilization.
