掺铒光纤放大器性能参数测试

摘    要:阐述了掺铒光纤放大器EDFA的基本原理,介绍了EDFA性能参数测试的一般方法,对插入测量法进行了改进,使其更精确。利用改进后的插入法对980nm波长泵浦的EDFA在1530—1560nm间的增益和噪声系数进行了测量,绘制出了性能曲线。

Abstract:Basic theory of EDFA and the general testing method for EDFA's performance parameter were introduced. The interpolation technique was improved to make it more precise. The gain and noise figure of EDFA pumped by 980 nm wavelength were measured by using the new interpolation technique, when the incident light wavelength was from 1 530 nm to 1 560 nm. And the performance curve was drawn also.
