In this paper,we look back to the history of embroidery art and described the present status in Shanxi,from which we analyzed the opportunity and advantage that embroidery art brings to us.We will preserve and develop embroidery art by a lot of methods including the excavation and collection of ancient embroidery art,training of qualified personnel,Embroidery innovation and propagating embroidery in the form of advertisement in order to promote the advancement of embroidery art.
