The Study of Intramodulated Photodetector |

This paper reports a new photodetector exhibiting intramodulated characteristics. When constant illuminance radiates on the divice, a modulated alternating photo current can be exported, directly proportional to the intensity of the incident light, and directly be amplified by a lock-in amplifier or a selective amplifier; hence the device has a very high SNR and becomes a new device detecting weak light to replace the photodetecting system made up of a chopper and a conventional photodetector. In this paper, we have theoretically and experimentally studied the characteristics of the intramodulated photodetector. |
