| Abstract: | DENSADEG is a new kind of clarifier-thickener, which integrates declined tube settling, sludge recirculation, sludge thickening into one unit. It fits into the line of sludge recirculation type the declined tube settling tanks using chemical reagents. In addition to settling, sludge thickening takes place at the same time. A pilot test of DENSADEG has been made in Shanghai Nanshi Water Plant, which used the water from Huangpu River as raw water. The results of test was discussed in this paper, and the working characteristics of this technology were analyzed. |
