Analysis of Influence of Water Hardness on Slime Floatation

The article introduces the successful experience of Coal Separating Plant of Shuangyashan Coal Mining Group Comp.by adding Magnesium Chloride to slurry for improving water hardness,and solving the problem about the lower slurry water hardness causing the increase of concentrating machine overflowed fine slime,long cycle of pressure filtering machine prolonged,increasing input and output material time of filter press,and the slightness of thickener clear aqueous layer.The article also summed up the changes of coal slurry water hardness would effect on floatation water extractor.
