Abstract:Yoshida-Uemori kinematic hardening constitutive model can effectively describe the alterations of material properties under different deformation paths.In this paper,the forming process simulation and springback prediction of an automobile body panel is implemented by using JSTAMP/LS-DYNA.The Yoshida-Uemori constitutive model is selected to characterize the anisotropic material behavior of sheet metal during forming.Simulation predictions on spingback are compared with experimental results to demonstrate the effectiveness and accuracy of the Yoshida-Uemori model.The results indicate that the better springback prediction can be achieved by using Yoshida-Uemori constitutive model compared with orthotropic hardening constitutive models for high strength steel stamping.
