高岭土/四针状ZnO晶须填充UHMWPE的研究

摘    要:采用超细高岭土和四针状ZnO晶须对超高分子量聚乙烯(UHMWPE)进行物理填充改性,研究了这2种填料对于UHMWPE摩擦磨损性能的影响。结果表明,四针状ZnO晶须和高岭土都可以降低UHMWPE摩擦系数和磨损率,同时二者具有的协同效应,在4.5%四针状ZnO晶须和4.5%高岭土的用量时,摩擦系数最低;在6%四针状ZnO晶须和3%高岭土的用量时,磨损率最小。SEM表明2种填料的磨损机理存在差异。复合填充时,四针状ZnO晶须可以限制高岭土磨屑的产生,进一步降低材料的磨损率。

Abstract:The ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) composites filled with superfine kaolin and quardrupedal crystal whisker of zinc oxide were prepared. The mechanical, friction and wear behaviors of the composites were investigated that each one of the fillers filled in UHMWPE could decrease the friction coefficient and wear loss of the composites and that synergistic effect occurred when both of the fillers were used together in the composites, within which 4.5% zinc oxide and 4.5% kaolin have the lowest friction efficient, and which of 6% zinc oxide and 3% kaolin have the lowest wear loss. SEM showed that two fillers have different mechanism for friction and wear and that quardrupedal crystal whisker of zinc oxide could limit the generation of wear debris so that wear loss was decreased more.
