Digital Simulation for Nonlinear Dynamic Systems with Functions Containing Discontinuities

Based on the Runge-Kutta formula with variable combined coefficients,an efficient algorithm is presented for the simulation of nonlinear dynamic systems with functions containing discontinuities.Comparing with other ones now in common use,the algorithm possesses the merits of less demand for the smoothness of condition functions, much more easily programming, reliability of computational results and smaller quantity of additional calculation.Simulation results show that the presented algorithm is feasible and effective.
