| Abstract: | This paper reviews the steel grades for the quenching - tempering and surface- hardening gears. Based on the investigation on the main domestic enterprises, the principles of the selection and classification of ste els for quenching- tempering and surface- hardening gears are summarized, and th e recommendation of steel system is also presented. |
