| Abstract: | The effect of inhomogeneous light-beam-induced heating of a potassium dihydrophosphate (KDP) crystal on the positions of maxima in the patterns of X-ray diffraction has been studied using the characteristic K α1, α2 radiation. This phenomenon can be used in order to decrease aberrations in optical systems. |
