| Abstract: | The paper,on the basis of comprehensive compilation of published materials,discusses the gain clamped mechanism of erbium doped fiber amplifier.Various method for all optical gain clamped are also outlined.Furthermore,recent researches of all optical gain clamped fber amplifier are reported. Finally,the promising future is prospected. |
