| Abstract: | In the arficle,the features of AFIS(Advanced Fiber Information System) and artificial neural networks are commented on. The working principle of the networks in predicting yarn tenacity and the constructing method of the networks are put forward. And the experimental datas show that the neural networks systems are powerful tools for predicting yarn tenacity. It is pointed out that artificial networks have a wide prospect in predicting and controlling yarn quality. |
