| Abstract: | This article introduces the basic principle and development of MSTP technology briefly. It explains the four key techniques of the third generation MSTP in detail,such as Virtual Concatenation and LCAS function;interconnection;RPR based loop link function and RPR cooperating with SDH protection function.Finally this article gives a brief introduction to the development of the third generation MSTP. |
