Ciphertext verification security of symmetric encryption schemes

Abstract:
This paper formally discusses the security problem caused by the ciphertext verification,presenting a new security notion named IND-CVA(indistinguishability under ciphertext verification attacks) to characterize the privacy of encryption schemes in this situation.
