| Abstract: | Failure of a rubber seal has been analyzed by using infrared spectrometer and electron spectrometer.The analytic results indicate that the premature failure of the rubber seal is mainly due to the use of chloroprene rubber combined with butyronitrile rubber. It didn't match the demand for outer layer material. |
