Application of composite foundation in foundation reinforcement treatment of a residential building

The sectional foundation reinforcement method was discussed based on an actual engineering example.The reinforcement method of static pressure grouting was only adopted for the area that has small settling volume,the combined reinforcement method with root piles composite foundation and static pressure grouting was adopted for the area that settles obviously.The method of calculation and design about the root piles composite foundation was introduced emphatically.The practice has proved that good reinforcement effect can be obtained and it was reasonable in economy when applying appropriate composite foundation for foundation treatment.
