| 摘 要： | 运用概念隐喻理论对英语“时间”谚语进行分析，将英语“时间”谚语划分为四组隐喻概念：Time is money（时间是金钱）、Time is human／life（时间是有生命的人）、Time is a concrete object（时间是具体的实物）、Time is a moving object（时间是运动的物体），论述了这些隐喻概念表达都呈系统性，指出转喻是时间概念化的一种方式和过程，它是通过时间与事物甚至有生命的人之间的转喻联系实现的。

| Abstract: | This is an analysis of English time proverbs from a theoretical perspective of Conceptual Metaphor. The results show that English time proverbs can be categorized into four groups of concepts： Time is money; Time is human/life; Time is a concreteobject; Time is a moving object. They are systematic. The conceptualization in English time proverbs is also a metonymic process, which is realized by the metonymy between time and object, time and human or life. |
