Analyses the existing problems in the network nodes management and maintenance in college campus, such as the big management difficulty, the backward management, management personnel changes frequently, the lack of statistical data, suggests some optimizing ap- proaches for the network node management. Takes a university in Shenzhen as an example, describes how to implement information- based management of network nodes, focuses on the design of data structure of network nodes, the method of the data collection for network nodes and the generating technology for report forms, which may have reference for information-based management of network nodes in college campus.
