Abstract:The large underground space structure affects the propagation of seismic wave and changes the adjacent seismic field. In order to study the influence of underground space structure on seismic response of superstructures, the shaking table tests on the underground structure-soil-surface structure (SSSI) system and the soil-surface structure (SSI) system were designed and carried out. The seismic responses of the superstructure under six different dominant frequency input seismic waves were comparatively studied. The results show that the underground space structure affects the dynamic characteristics of adjacent sites, and then affects the dynamic characteristics of adjacent structures. As a result, the ground structure frequency and site fundamental frequency of SSSI system are less than those of SSI system. The underground space structure enhances the motion interaction, which leads to the rocking motion of SSSI system being larger than that of SSI system. The peak values of translational acceleration, rocking acceleration and structural deformation acceleration of SSSI system are not synchronous. The maximum deformation response of SSSI system is 1.267 times of that of SSI system.
