Optimal Curriculum Sequences Algorithm Research for Distance Learning

In order to optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process and fulfill personalized learning needs, Web courseware should adapt to different users' requirements so as to attain a wide applications. Study is conducted on an optimal curriculum sequencing algorithm based on a basic prerequisite relation. The system monitors the interactions of learners with each prerequisite concept in the courseware. Students can follow the system recommendations for an optimal learning path depending on their previous interactions and the concepts' weight. An interesting feature of the presented algorithms is that it can also be used in other kinds of partial relation among concepts.
