季戊四醇酯基础油低温性能与原料酸组成的关系研究

摘    要:研究了季戊四醇酯基础油的低温性能与原料脂肪酸碳原子组成之间的关系。研究发现:奇数碳原子脂肪酸合成的酯其低温性能较好,而由偶数碳原子脂肪酸合成的酯低温性能较差。这种现象的原因,主要是由于偶数碳原子数脂肪酸的晶体结构对称性较高,晶体结合得较为紧密,因此生成酯的熔点较高,低温流动性较差;而奇数碳原子数脂肪酸的对称性较差,晶体结合得不密集,因此酯的低温性能较好。

Abstract:The effect of acid composition in feedstock on the low temperature performance of pentaerythritol ester base oil was studied.Results showed that there is a good connection between odd or even carbon atom number of the acid and the low temperature performance of the base stocks,which the base stocks synthesized by odd carbon number acid has better low temperature fluidity and that synthesized by even carbon acid has worse low temperature fluidity.This is probably caused by different crystal structure of the acid,which the higher symmetry and closeness of crystal structure of odd carbon atom number of the acid result in higher melting point and worse low temperature fluidity of the ester,while the worse symmetry and closeness of crystal structure of even carbon atom number of the acid result in lower melting point and better low temperature fluidity,on the contrary.
