摘    要:介绍了一种不采用1/4波片的新型光学电压互感器,该互感器适用于高电压值的测量。该设计基于Pockets效应,但不采用1/4波片结构。基于Jones矩阵,建立了光学电压互感器的数学模型,设计出最佳输入角及工作点,推导出电压与输出光强的理论公式。与传统电压互感器进行了比较并且进行了相关实验,证明此设计结构更简单,精确度更高。

Abstract:A new optical voltage transformer (OVT) without using quarter:wave plate is introduced; it is suitable for the measurement of high voltage. The design of the transformer is based on Pockets effect, but does not use 1/4 wave plate structure. Based on Jones matrix the mathematical model for OVT is set up, the optimum input angle and working point is designed, and the theoretic equations for the voltage and output intensity are derived. Comparison with traditional voltage transformer and associated experiments are made, the results show that this design is simpler in structure and higher in accuracy.
