| Abstract: | A old 300A glow-discharge nitriding furnace has been twice improved successively by Dazhong Group Company,its power up to 300kW(glow)+300kW(resistance),its effective size is 1400×2500mm,the maximum weight of treated parts is 5t,now it is maximum ion bombardment multipurpose furnace.The improved furnace is used for the deep ion cementation of the surpergiant metallurgicall bearing ring(diameter up 1300mm,depth of cementation up 6mm) of 20Cr2Ni4A Steel,this paper has introduced the development of the cementation new process and its application.Such supergiant bearing ring is always treated with conventional gas cementation process up to now at home and abroad.The result of the experiment shows that the new process can meet the metallographical construction and property requirement,ant is a successful attempt. |
