Abstract:The Pt-Ru/C, Pt-Sn/C and Pt-Au/C catalysts were prepared by reduction of the precursors in appropriate solvents. The distribution and size of metal particles were characterized by TEM. The alloy conditions of the metals were characterized by XRD. The EIS tests and PEM single fuel cell test were conducted to show the performance to hydrogen oxidation and the CO tolerant ability of the catalysts. All of the results showed that Pt-Ru/C was the best one of the three catalysts, Pt-Sn/C next to it.
