Accurate model for open end effect of microstrip lines |

| Abstract: | A closed form expression for the equivalent line length associated with the single microstrip open end is presented for the use in microwave CAD programs. The maximum relative error involved is less than 2.5% and its effect can be shown to be below physical tolerances. |
