| Abstract: | During 1998 flood season, the Taoer river was in record maximal flood because it had rained continuously on the basin. The paper discusses the genesis and characteristic of rainstorm and flood according to the data observed rainfall and flood from Taoer river and Chaershen reservoir in 1998, and introduces the important effect of Chaershen reservoir in 1998' flood. |
