摘    要:介绍了TI公司最新推出的TMS320DM6446芯片的特点,其DSP和ARM双核结构能同时满足图像应用在运算能力和控制功能上的要求;针对双核处理器的特点,提出了图像压缩系统的设计;试验结果满足各项指标,并在图像压缩系统中得到应用.

Abstract:The features of TMS320DM6446 are introduced.The dual-core architecture,ARM plus DSP,can fully satisfy the requirements of image processing in both calculation and control capabilities.According to characteristics of the dual-core processor,the design scheme of an image compression system is put forward.Experiments proved that it could meet the index requirement.The scheme has been used in an image compression system practically.
