摘    要:
将1维的OPT推广为2维OPT,在此基础上提出了一种基于正交多项式变换的图像融合算法.正交多项式变换将图像的主要特征映射到时域特征空间,而将图像的细节特征映射为白噪声.融合处理在特征空间中进行.实验结果表明,在降噪方面该算法优于离散小波变换方法、拉普拉斯金字塔方法和Morphological金字塔方法.

Abstract:
2-dimmension OPT (Orthogonal Polynomial Transform) is derived in this paper. An image fusion algorithm is then presented based on OPT. The main features of fused images are transformed into a time domain space, called feature space that is spanned by an orthogonal polynomial base, and the details of the images are transformed to white noises by means of OPT. Fusion process can be performed in the feature space. The experimental results demonstrated that the performance of proposed algorithm is superior to that of image fusion algorithms based on discrete wavelet transform, Laplacian pyramid, and Morphological pyramid respectively.
