| Abstract: | Based on briefing of phase I earth rock work of the Three Gorges Project(TGP), blasting techniques applied to the earth rock work, such as tunneling blasting, chamber blasting, horizontal smooth blasting as well as mixing charging truck for emulsion explosive have been introduced in this paper. Improvement, innovation and application of the above mentioned blasting techniques in the construction of phase I of the TGP will provide valuable experiences of engineering construction for water conservancy, hydroelectric industry and other industries. |
