Inquiry into and Analysis of Problems in Trial Operation of TEC Large-Granule Urea Unit

An introduction is given to the structural principle of the TEC spray-fluid bed granulator and the TEC dust scrubber. An exploratory analysis is done of the problems in the operation of the large-granule urea unit, viz., i~3terruption of movement of bed in the granulator, skipping of chain of bucket elevator, breakage of belt on roller of crusher, funnel with flexible connection in vibratory screen and additive charge pump not meeting load requirement, deviation of belt on belt weigher at outlet of granulator, damage of fuse of vibratory feeder, burn out of vibratory motor coil and so on, and relevant solution schemes are proposed. After the update of the technology, the clean-up frequency is reduced, the working condition is stablized, and the product quality is improved.
