| Abstract: | In the paper, characteristics and standardization of next generation PON technologies, including 10G-EPON and NG-PON1, were introduced in detail. The next generation PON industrial chain advancement was investigated. Finally, application modes and system architecture of next generation PON were discussed briefly. |
