| Abstract: | A comprehensive review of major achievements of pulp and paper making from kenaf at home and abroad is presented. The optimum selection of kenaf species, the collection, transporiation and storage of kenaf,the separation of kenaf bast from core, the feasibility of using whole stalk for paper making, the latest technology for kenaf CTMP and the experiences of Phoenix pulp mill, Thailand are introduced. Some suggestions of furiher development of kenaf-papermaking in China are discussed. |
