石灰改良高含水率粘土在某海堤填筑工程中的应用研究

摘    要:广东省某海堤工程现场填筑用的粘土存在天然含水率高、压缩性高、强度低等问题,严重影响施工效率及质量。该文提出利用石灰改良方法降低粘土含水率,并通过相关指标检测及碾压工艺试验研究其方法的可行性。研究结果表明,掺用石灰后的粘土含水率快速降低,压实后具有较低的压缩性和较高的无侧限抗压强度,压实质量完全满足设计要求。

Abstract:The clay soil applied to fill in the seawall project of Guangdong Province is existed with high water content, high compression and low strength, leading to the poor efficiency and quality of construction. In the article, the lime improving method is put forward to reduce the water content, meanwhile, relevant index is tested and roller compaction test is adopted to study the feasibility. The result concludes that the water content of clay decreases quickly by the lime improving method, causing the low compression and high strength of the clay soil after compaction. The compaction quality is totally satisfied with the design requirement.
