Thinking about Urban Renewal from the "Three Old Reform" Renewal in Guangdong Province

Guangdong province faces two core problems of rapid industrialization and low-level stretch of space in its urban renewal. So it implements the"Three Old Reforms"plan to promote industry and reconstruct space in order to break the limitation of the land resource. This article analyzes the positive and negative effects of the"Three Old Reforms"plans’implementation from the angle of planning ideology, public security, organizational model, eligibility access, cost accounting, programming interface, system construction and other aspects. Only on the basis of the"Three Old Reforms"practice experience, innovative ideas and technical methods of urban renewal planning, implementation of the institutional building of urban renewal and improvement of the existing urban renewal system, can it break the current land resource-poor condition in Guangdong Province and promote our urban-construction with intensive, efficient and sustainable methods.
