| Abstract: | Impurities including 14 kinds of C6 and C7 alkenes were separated from solvent naphtha for polymerization ,by using a glass capillary gas chromatography with 500k theoretical plates for n- heptane .These alkene impurities were determined qualitatively by chemical analysis and Kovats retention index method , and quantitatively by internal standard method . The iodine number calculated from the alkenes was in agreement with that by chemical analysis , the standard deviation of data was 33 ppm and the relative standard deviation 2.7% . |
