| Abstract: | In this paper the fundamental principle of electrochemical reduc- tion of organic compounds is introduced and electrochemical reduction of coal and its model compounds is discussed.Both solvated electron theory and eletron trans- fer theory of electrochemical reduction of organic compounds are explained.The de- velopment prospect of electrochemical reduction of coal in our country is pointed out. |
