Deep in the Mountain:An Interview with Valentin Bearth

Valentin Bearth has composed some of the most significant works in his practice in Chur, which lies in the Grisonian Rhine Valley of the Alps.In addition, Bearth also taught in the Academy of Architecture in Mendrisio, where he served as Director from 2007 to 2011.In April 2018, Bearth shared his experience of his generation as a swiss architect, the early working career in Atelier Zumthor and the project he has completed in the past 30 years within 2 hours at his Chur office.The design concept and historical influence of these projects were further elaborated.
