| Abstract: | A national radioactive material and waste management plan concerning the deep geological disposal to long-lived intermediate level radioactive waste and long-lived high level radioactive waste has been made in France. The Institute for Radioactive Protection and Nuclear Safety of France （ IRSN）, which provides technical support to the French Nuclear Safety Authority to assess the deep geological dis- posal, has developed the research and review on the safety of geological disposal. The safety principles and essential factor for reviewing made by IRSN are good references for china nuclear safety authority |
