三峡输变电工程建设

Overview of Construction of Three Gorges Transmission & Distribution Works

Three Gorges transmission & distribution works, functioning as power transmission and distribution, are one of three key parts of the Three Gorges project. The central trunk of the 'power transmission from the west to the energy thirsty east formed through construction of the Three Gorges transmission & distribution works will create favorable conditions for optimum deployment of energy sources to wider extent, promote formation of national interlink power-grid and speed up more improvement of power grid technology and construction level in China. The Three Gorges transmission & distribution works shall be completed smoothly to ensure the power from the Three Gorges hydropower station, especially for current first units can be transmitted out, distributed and used by customers.
