| Abstract: | Two simple frequency filtering methods are described for demodulating laser probe measurements of acoustic vibration signals. Measurements are presented of Lamb wave scattering in a plate waveguidc and of acoustic second-harmonic generation in a length expander resonator. In the second example spurious second-harmonic signals are rejected by using a phase heterodyning technique. |
