Abstract: | A conversation-based message system groups related messages into conversations and orders messages within conversations according to the context in which they were submitted. This paper describes the implementation of a comprehensive conversation-based message system, called Dragonmail, that extends an earlier prototype in two ways. First, it integrates conversations with conventional memo-based mail in a way that preserves the semantics of the conversation abstraction. Secondly, it provides for the distribution of software components across multiple hosts to support remote interfaces. |
