| 摘 要： | 在汽车牌照自动识别系统中，字符分割的准确性是能否正确识别的前提条件，由于受自然环境和人为因素的影响，造成图像质量下降，给字符分割带来了很大的干扰，本文采用了面积投影法，轮廓投影法和固定间距法综合来分割字符，现场实践证明。字符分割准确率达到98．7％。

| Abstract: | The accuracy of character division is the prerequisite of correct recognition in the automatic recognition system for automobile license plate. Because of natural environment and artificial factor, the quality of pictures is decreased bringing prodigious disturbances in character division. In this paper, a hybrid method of area projection, profile projection and fixed space for dividing the character is used. The accurate rate for character division proven to be 98.7% by the practical usage. |
