在VxWorks上实现的多媒体编程模型

为了简化在实时操作系统上的多媒体编程，按照把处理单元作为组件的思路，给出了一个简单灵活的多媒体编程模型(NPMED)。分析和阐明了构建该模型的概念、思路，然后应用COM技术规范介绍了在VxWorks操作系统上如何实现这个模型，简单地示范了如何使用和测试该模型。实践表明，该模型具有良好的可扩充性和巨大的灵活性，且实现简单，使用容易，因此，它是解决在实时操作系统上进行多媒体处理的有效模型。

Programming architecture for multimedia applications implemented on VxWorks

To simplify program for multimedia applications on real time operating system, a programming architecture for mul-timedia applications (NPMED) was provided based on the ideas that a process unit was considered as a component. The concepts and ideas of this architecture were emphasized. And then the steps to implement this architecture on VxWorks were presented by applying COM technology. In the end an example was offered to demonstrate how to use and test this architecture. It has been found that the architecture is extendable and flexible, which can be implemented and used easily, and therefore which is an effective model for multimedia applications that run on real time operating system.
