Fuzzy Diagnosis Method of Vibration-caused Failure of Hydrogenerator Unit

The authors have made an approach to the diagnosis method of vibration-caused failure,i.e.the fuzzy diagnosis method according to the vibration characteristics of hydrogenerator units.In this paper the fuzzy technology has been proposed to be applied to diagnosis of vibration-caused failure of a hydrogenerator unit,the basic principle and implementation of the fuzzy failure diagnosis have been introduced,and both feasibility and advantage of the method have been verified by taking the vibration-caused failures of the hydrogenerator units happened in some of the existing hydropower plants as examples.
