Microwave imaging of subsurface cylindrical scatters from crosspolar backscatter |

| Abstract: | A technique based on polarisation discrimination is shown to produce microwave images of suitably depolarising subsurface targets which are superior to copolar images by virtue of rejecting the rough-surface return. |
